Hello, and welcome to Sea Watch!

We are Brian Witt and Shannon Bailey. Brian was one of the original shareholders who bought the island in 1974 and is happy to share island history with guests. As a couple, we spent many of our holidays at Nuchatlitz before deciding to move here full time seven years ago. We have really enjoyed co-creating the idea and then the reality of "Sea Watch," a retreat of sorts from the busy world. It is our sincere pleasure to share our 'neck of the woods' with people from all over the world. We deeply respect and appreciate the scenic beauty, fresh air, pure water, and abundance of wildlife in this area. We have boated, hiked, kayaked, and rowed to many nooks and crannies of this beautiful place. Our knowledge of tides, winds, and currents is up to date and accurate. We are safety conscious and provide a full orientation of area conditions as part of our welcome to guests. We respect our cooperative and ask guests to consider noise impacts on neighbors by boating slowly (wake as well as noise considerations) in the sheltered area around our island, and by not getting overly rowdy out on the deck late at night. We are easy going and happy to help our guests in any way we can.
